Rev John Clark, Deacon
No One Hungry & OSL

Fr. Rob has served as rector since June of 2009. After graduating from seminary in 2007 he was Upper School Chaplain at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy in Melbourne, Florida. He attended Asbury Theological Seminary in Orlando and has a Master of Divinity from The School of Theology at the Universty of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. Before his call to the priesthood, he worked for 30 years in the film and television industry as a writer, producer, director, editor, and cameraman. He lives on the Indian River in Sebastian with his wife, Kate.

The Reverend John Clark was ordained Deacon in September of 2016. A Professional Executive Chef by trade, John's passion for food now reaches to the poorest and the suffering. In October of 2015 he began No One Hungry, a food bank ministry at St. Gabriel's and Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. In addition, John serves as a member of The Board of Directors of The International Order of St. Luke Healing Ministry.

Rev Dr. Ken Nolen
Christian Education

Katie Williams has been a vibrant participant and leader in youth ministry since she was a teenager. She now serves as Director of Students at the Forge. She has been instrumental in feeding teenagers in our neighborhood, teaching students about God, and making a safe space for children in Titusville. Katie has three children.

The Reverend Doctor Kenneth Nolen was ordained to the Priesthood at St. Gabriel's on April 14th, 2018.  Formerly a pastor in the Assemblies of God and Pentecostal traditions, Ken has thrived in his new denominational home. In addition to shepherding Morning Prayer services, he teaches our Wednesday Evening Bible Studies and provides pastoral care to the community. He is lives with his wife Annette, who is an active member of the Daughters of the King, and son, Christopher.

Rick Purtle,

Marsha Purtle, R.N. Faith Community Nurse

David Herzog is a very talented music teacher and voice instructor. His expertise in vocal training has improved our choir's skill levels considerably since joining us in 2012. He received his degree in Music Education at Florida Southern College and his Masters degree at he University of Central Florida 2019. He is married to Karen, who is an extraordinary singer in her own right.

Rick Purtle is our Chief Cook and prepares our monthly Community Dinners and our Wednesday Night Simple Suppers. He also works with families on Funeral receptions and Wedding receptions.

Marsha Purtle is a Faith Community Nurse and is active in the Brevard Coalition that provides services for the poor and needy. In addition, Marsh also leads the team of Nursery volunteers.

Karen was born and raised in Hanover, PA where she was employed as Assistant to the President of the HR Dept. at Utz Quality Foods. She moved to Titusville in 2009 to be closer to her parents, Harry & Elaine Fogle, long time members of St. Gabriel's. She began volunteering in the office in 2010 and is now the Parish Secretary.

 

Dawn took early retirement from her position in Finance at NASA, where she worked along side Richard Cota, our treasurer. Her love of God, and her accounting prowess led her to serve as bookkeeper at St. Andrews Methodist Church. We are blessed to have her!

Damian Josephson
Housekeeping

Liberty Lodge

Damian Josephson leads Liberty Lodge, a long-term recovery ministry, where clients work in the community as part of their program. He and his "crew" provide housekeeping services in the church buildings, as well as serving as waiters and dishwashers at our Community Dinners. We are grateful for the prayerful work of these faithful men.
